I’m always looking forward to the South Zone opening and that is why we are headed south for the palomas. Three hunts, punctuated by meals in the field, and storytelling back at camp. Example Schedule:
- Day 1: Arrive at 3:00pm at Outpost on South Padre Island; 4:00pm travel to field and start hunt; 7:00pm hunt ends and return to Outpost for dinner
- Day 2: 5:30am coffee and continental breakfast; 6:00am travel to field, 10:00am hunt ends and return to Outpost for larger breakfast/lunch, afternoon free, 4:00pm travel to field and start hunt; 7:00pm hunt ends and return to Outpost for dinner
- Day 3: 5:30am coffee and continental breakfast; 6:00am travel to field, 10:00am hunt ends and return to Outpost for larger breakfast/lunch, 1:00pm check out
- Sunrise and sunset hunt for two days and two nights of lodging (on South Padre Island, Texas)
- Field guides
- Chef prepared gourmet meals

- Daily bag limit is 15 birds with a possession limit of 45

Hunting Permit Required:
Hunters will need a migratory game bird endorsement. It’s also required by law that hunters have proof of their completion of a hunter education course. You may purchase your license here.
